David Rabinowitz

Operations Manager

David Rabinowitz started his professional career as a small business owner after his stint at UT here in Austin. His background with computer hardware and software during that time made him a good fit for several technology, support and project management positions with companies like USAA, Southwest Research Institute and the Armstrong Laboratory of the U.S. Air Force. He came on in 2015 as Office Manager to fill an immediate need, and has found that the environment of Sweeten CPA and the day to day interactions he has with our clients gives him immense satisfaction and the opportunity to exercise his wit and passion for problem solving. He is also one heck of a poker player.


Karen Moore

Business Processes Manager

In 2016, Sweeten CPA invested in Karen Moore as our Business Process Manager. She is a certified Project Management Professional, and comes to us after a long career at IBM. She graduated from UT, here in Austin, and shares her passion for knowledge and learning with her three home-schooled children. She immediately began harnessing the power of our project management software and is perfectly positioned to help scale our operations for future growth.


Meredith Lupolt

Executive Assistant to the President

Meredith Lupolt came to Sweeten CPA from the investment management industry.  As Executive Assistant to the President, she’s utilized her background in finance, customer relations, scheduling, data management, and executive support.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Texas State University in San Marcos.  Eat ‘em up, Cats!!


Mandi Ruth


Mandi is a born and raised Austinite! Her previous years in customer service, from a restaurant to an interpreting call center, taught her the importance of customer relations. She graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX in 2018. Her degree in psychology and love of personality tests fuels her love of people. She is excited to apply that love to the world of accounting!


Lori Wasson

Office Manager

Lori Wasson has 18 years of experience being a bookkeeper and office manager. She spent 10 years managing the bookkeeping for her husband's roofing company, which gives her an intimate understanding of small businesses and their books. Because of this, Lori is very aware of the hurdles small businesses face and works hard to make bookkeeping a stress-free experience for her clients!
